About

OBD Fusion is an app that allows you to read OBD2 vehicle data directly from your Android phone or tablet. You can clear your check engine light, read diagnostic trouble codes, estimate fuel economy and much more! OBD Fusion has a ton of features that are used by professional car mechanics, do-it-yourselfers, and users who want to monitor car data during day to day driving. Some of the features include customizable dashboards, real-time graphing of vehicle sensors, emission readiness status, data logging and exporting, oxygen sensor tests, Boost readout, and a full diagnostic report. Is your check engine light on? Do you want to monitor fuel economy and usage in your vehicle? Do you want cool looking gauges on your Android phone or tablet? If so, then OBD Fusion is the app for you! OBD Fusion is a vehicle diagnostics tool that connects to OBD-II and EOBD vehicles. Not sure if your vehicle is OBD-2, EOBD or JOBD compliant? See this page for more information: https://www.obdsoftware.net/support/knowledge-base/how-do-i-know-whether-my-vehicle-is-obd-ii-compliant/. OBD Fusion works with some JOBD compliant vehicles and in some cases requires modifications to the connection settings in the app. Please contact us for more information. You must have a compatible scan tool to use this software. For recommended scan tools, see our website https://www.obdsoftware.net/software/obdfusion. Please note that cheap ELM clone adapters can be unreliable. OBD Fusion can connect to any ELM 327 compatible adapter, but the cheap clone adapters tend to have slow refresh rates and might disconnect randomly. I have a Mazda 6 2.2d 2016 Estate and the app identified it as a Mazda 2007 petrol Sedan. The app retrieved this info by decoding the VIN of my vehicle. It seems the UK and US VIN formats are different, hence why it got it wrong - not a big issue as the details can be entered manually. Very nice app and works perfectly with my Veepeak BLE Plus Bluetooth OBD2 dongle. Unfortunately, no add-on was available for my particular model.

App was working great. Have it connected we Veepeak Bluetooth. Worked for a few couple months. Bought the FCA enhanced diagnostics for my truck. Worked great. Now tonight I tried to connect and now the enhanced is gone, tried to restore as suggested didn't work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restore and still didn't work. Clicked on the purchase and says I already purchased. No information anywhere and it feels like a waste

I bought a PID pack for my Lexus IS-F two years ago, but haven't connected to the car until now. I can't find find these PIDs in the app and the app doesn't even know the basic values for my car like fuel tank capacity. Now I'm confused and not sure if the PIDs are actually compatible and updated. Did an update change this? Update: The PIDs were installed. Big plus for the swift reply from the developer here. I'll still take a star bc the app could be a bit more intuitive but it does it's job.

Update: I have once again found a fix. I turned off mobile data. I have it connecting 3 out of 3 times. Update: I am once again unable to connect to my wifi OBD2 device. I am still able to connect with different software (Car Scanner), so I don't think it's entirely a hardware issue. Ok, so following the instructions imbedded in a different app (OBD Mary), I found that by disabling battery optimization I could get it to work every time. You may want to include this information in your app.

Why in the world....once we are familiar with an app and can read it at a glance does a developer decide to completely change the interface forcing us to relearn it. No improvement, etc. Just change for change's sake. Just ridiculous... Edit 3/17/24. The response from OBD Fusion is not accurate. One simple example: the most critical feature for us users is if there is a pending code. That used to be bright green engine icon and message "No Codes". Easy to see. Now...it's a screen full of text.

This app works every time. No issue with clearing codes. Thanks for the great work. Please add more features like adding and removing keys on VW vehicles.

This is the best generic android based OBDII scanner for gathering data. I use it to correct OBDII issues on vehicles that fail their bi-annual smog inspections. Mode1 is able to display all SAE generic pids available in the PCM. When it can, Mode6 CID are translated. Mode9 shows In-use performance tracking. When Permanent Codes are displayed, it shows number of Warm up Cycles, and Miles traveled after code clear. Very useful with the current California smog inspection. If I had a wish list, it would be for better graphing of pids. I use a different application for graphing pids. All in all, this is an exceptional scanner app.

I have this app loaded on my Atoto head unit. All updates failed starting in October of 2022. Ver. 5.31.0 has been on the unit since then. I periodically check to see if an upgrade works. Until today they always failed. The July update ver. 6.4.0 fixed it. I now have the latest version.

This app is amazing! It worked out of the box with my cheap ELM 327 bluetooth device I paid 15 bucks for, plus 5 bucks for the app and 11 bucks for the enhanced package for Toyota. For little over 30 bucks I have complete live diagnostic data for my car. ABS, transmission, engine.. you named it. No subscription required. I double there is a more affordable option out there. Highly recommended!.

I really like this app. I got it because I wanted to monitor the flex fuel content in my truck without adding a gauge to it. At first it wouldn't display the info I wanted but luckily, this app allows you to add user defined PID's to basically display any info that the car's ECU is monitoring.

Purchased Toyota module, (for my Lexus IS350) worked for a week or 2. Now it says Incompatible with my Veepeak Bluetooth transmitter. Won't connect. Keeps trying to read tpms. Waste of $14.99.
